Cat Adoption

At any time we have  a multitude of loving feline friends for you to consider adopting,
but first we must get a few details out of the way:

cat 1Adoption Process

If you wish to adopt a companion cat from FPAC please read through the information below. It is our goal to match the right companion animal with the right guardian.

The following items are required for all adoptions

  • You must be at 21 years of age
  • You must have current ID with your current address (or a bill with current address)
  • You must have the knowledge and consent of your landlord
  • You must be able and willing to spend the time and money to properly care for your pet.  This includes having all necessary medical treatment.

Adoption forms for a cat

The following forms will be needed for a cat adoption.  You can print these at home and have them filled out when you come to see your new cat, or we have these in the office for you.
Cat Adoption Application
Adoption Agreement
Landlord Agreement
The completion of these  forms does not guarantee that you will be approved. It is just the first step.

Once a cat has been selected
Once you have found your newest feline friend, you must sign the Adoption Contract, which is a legally binding document.  The fees for Adopting an adult cat are $75.  There is a discount for adopting more than one cat.  The fee for senior cats are $30.  These fees include all medical expenses and spay/neutering.

Finally, time to take your cat home
!!
Okay, now that the business part of the adoption is done,  it's time to go home.
For safety reasons, we require all cats leaving our facility to be contained in a pet carrier. We will provide a cardboard carrier as part of the adoption or you may use your own carrier.  We hope you have a wonderful time with your new feline friend.  If you would like to , you can  drop us a line and tell us about your "Happy Tail"
You can help!!
Your donations help in our efforts to save Mineral Area's homeless pets.  If you cannot help with a monetary donation, please donate items to our store, where all the profits go directly to the animals.  Please see the How to Help page for more information.
