Dog Adoption

At any time we have  a multitude of caring canine friends for you to consider adopting,
but first we must get a few details out of the way:

puppyAdoption Process

If you wish to adopt a companion dog from FPAC please read through the information below. It is our goal to match the right companion animal with the right guardian.

The following items are required for all adoptions

  • You must be at 21 years of age
  • You must have current ID with your current address (or a bill with current address)
  • You must have the knowledge and consent of your landlord
  • You must be able and willing to spend the time and money to properly care for your pet.  This includes having all necessary medical treatment.

Adoption forms for a dog

The following forms will be needed for a cat adoption.  You can print these at home and have them filled out when you come to see your new dog, or we have these in the office for you.
Dog Adoption Form
Adoption Agreement
Landlord Agreement
The completion of these  forms does not guarantee that you will be approved. It is just the first step.

Once a dog has been selected
Once you have found your newest best friend, you must sign the Adoption Contract, which is a legally binding document.  The fees for adopting an adult dog are $100, or $150 for two dogs.  These fees include all basic immunizations and spay/neutering.

Finally, time to take your dog home
!!
Okay, now that the business part of the adoption is done,  it's time to go home.
For safety reasons, we require all dogs leave our facility on a leash and collar so please bring these items from home.  We hope you have a wonderful time with your new best friend.  If you would like to , you can  drop us a line and tell us about your "Happy Tail"
You can help!!
Your donations help in our efforts to save Mineral Area's homeless pets.  If you cannot help with a monetary donation, please donate items to our store, where all the profits go directly to the animals.  Please see the How to Help page for more information.
