Volunteering with Farmington Pet Adoption Center

FPAC is actively searching for volunteers. Volunteers play a critical role at FPAC. It is only through the help of our volunteers that we are able to continue our mission of finding homes for homeless pets in Missouri's Parkland.

Volunteers have a unique opportunity to help support the animals through a number of activities. We need immediate assistance in a few specific areas such as helping run adoption events with our animals at Petco in Farmington on Saturdays from 11-3, helping in our Second Chance Resale Store attached to the shelter, socializing animals and fostering animals from the shelter, supporting fundraising activities, and we always love receiving your gently used items for donation to the resale store.

If you are interested in actively supporting FPAC by donating your time and special skills to the animals, please contact us here or stop down at the shelter at 2901 HWY 67 S to receive a volunteer handbook and complete a volunteer application.

We hope you will help and I thank you for your support of FPAC!

Jason York
FPAC Board President - at Farmington Pet Adoption Center.

If you are interested in volunteering please check out the handbooks below and download an application. We always welcome volunteers and the animals would love to have you. Feel free to stop by or contact us via email here.

Volunteer Foster Application

Become a Foster Volunteer:

We want every animal brought to us to have a chance for a long and happy life. Because of our limited resources and personnel, we are not able to care for the many sick, injured and very young but otherwise adoptable animals as we would like to. Foster care will allow some of the young ones to grow and the sick and injured to heal.
This program also allows FPAC to take in more pets from the community by freeing up space at the shelter. Foster Care Program brings caring individuals and needy animals together, providing special care in a home setting until the animals are ready for adoption.

The Volunteer Foster Application must be completed and reviewed for proper foster placement just like a standard adoption placement would require.
